Antrim family home targeted in petrol bomb attack

An Antrim family were left badly shaken when their home was attacked with a petrol bomb on Tuesday morning.

A brick was also thrown through a window of the house shortly after midnight, in the Rathkyle area of the town.

Scorch damage was caused to the back door of the property but luckily the three adults and one child in the home were not injured.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Antrim Police Station on 0845 600 8000, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
