Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a flat in Lisburn was attacked with petrol bombs.

Three men were seen throwing the incendiary devices at ground floor windows of the flat in Mourne View Park at around 2.30am yesterday.

No one was inside at the time of the attack.

A spokesman for the PSNI said that the attackers left the scene on foot shortly after the incident.

One was described as wearing a light coloured hooded top and the two others were wearing dark coloured hooded tops.

Detective Constable Chris Perks has appealed to anyone with information to contact detectives in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference number 241 12/06/16.
