Appeal for Dungannon man who went missing in Portrush

Police have issued a photograph of a Dungannon man who went missing from Portrush on Sunday morning.

Adam Mackay, known to family and friends as Marc Mackay, is 24 years old.

He was last seen in the Harbour area of Portrush at around 1am on Sunday morning.

Marc is described as being about 5'11" tall and of slim build with short, spiked, dirty fair hair.

He is believed to have been wearing a short-sleeved blue denim type shirt and light blue denim jeans on the night he went missing.

A police spokeswoman said: "Marc's family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned as the hours and days pass, and police are keen to hear from anyone who saw or spoke with Marc in the early hours of Sunday morning or during Saturday night.

"Please call the non-emergency number 101 if you can assist the detectives leading the missing person investigation."
