Police have appealed for the public's help finding a missing man who was last seen in south Belfast.

Officers say they are "exceedingly concerned" for the welfare of 27-year-old Darren Anderson.

He was last seen on Wednesday 19 November and is described as 5'8" tall, of slight build with dark wavy hair and green eyes.

He was wearing a dark coloured cardigan, a light coloured shirt, dark trousers, dark coloured shoes and he may have been carrying a white plastic bag.

Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said: “Enquiries have shown that Darren withdrew money from an ATM machine on Botanic Avenue at 8.37pm.

"Darren also made a phone call from a telephone box at the junction of Ormeau Road/Blackwood Street at 10.05pm."

Anyone who may have seen Darren or someone matching his description in the area is urged to contact Detectives at Musgrave Police Station on 101.
