Armed man robs Co Antrim fast food outlet

A fast food outlet in Co Antrim has been robbed at gunpoint.

It happened at premises in the village of Crumlin during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Detective Constable Claire Devlin, from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), said: "It was reported that at approximately 12.55am a male entered the premises armed with a firearm.

"He demanded money from staff before making off with a sum of cash in the direction of Mill Road, Crumlin."

Anyone with information or who saw suspicious activity is asked to contact police on 101.
