Police are hunting a woman armed with a suspected gun who was wearing a distinctive cow print onesie after a man was robbed in Belfast.

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of a robbery in the Great Victoria Street area in the early hours of Thursday August 6.

It is reported that at approximately 3am, a 20-year-old man was robbed by a woman, armed with a suspected firearm, who was in a blue Volkswagen Golf.

This woman was wearing a distinctive cow print onesie.

Two men who were also in the car made off with a sum of cash.

Detective Constable Gareth Hussey said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
