Around 30 contractors lose their jobs at Bombardier
Contractors at Bombardier Aerospace have been told they are being released from their posts.
Some of the agency workers affected complained they were only being told by letter that their contracts were coming to an end.
A Bombardier spokesman said: "We have reviewed our latest requirements based on current customer demand and, as a result, will be making adjustments to the composition of our Complementary Labour Force, who work alongside our permanent employees.
"We have informed the provider of our Complementary Labour Force that we need to release around 30 people from particular assignments with us.
"In addition, we intend to take on around the same number of people for other assignments, but of a different skill set.
"We do not formally announce when we make adjustments to our Complementary Labour Force, both when we take people on and when we release people from assignments. The numbers fluctuate on a regular basis, as the levels are based on peaks and troughs in customer demand."
