Arthur serves up his top five favourite players of all time
He's a long-serving player – but Arthur Norris is also a tennis fan. Here he picks out five of his favourite players.
Roger Federer: He's a perfect role model for kids. He's a talented player on all surfaces as his record in Grand Slams demonstrates and I was sorry he didn't win Wimbledon for the eighth time on Sunday.
Novak Djokovic: He lets his racquet do the talking on court. He has one of the best backhands and returns of serve in the modern era.
Rod Laver: Like myself he played in the days of wooden racquets and he also survived a stroke back in 1998. Thankfully we both made a recovery and are around to tell the tale. His record of 200 career titles, including 11 Grand Slams, speaks for itself.
Bjorn Borg: Who will ever forget his epic battles with Mr McEnroe in the 1980s? Eleven Grand Slams and another great role model for kids in his day.
Evonne Goolagong-Cawley: It was a delight seeing this young Aboriginal woman win her first Wimbledon title as a teenager all those years ago.
