Ballymena man arrested over 'suspicious activity' in a Co Antrim forest linked to extreme right wing views about tensions in north eastern Europe
A Ballymena man has been arrested by detectives conducting an investigation into suspicious activity in a forest in Co Antrim.
The 26-year-old man was arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.
The investigation is understood to be linked to extreme right wing views about tensions in north eastern Europe and suspicious activity in a forest in Co Antrim.
Last week four men were arrested and later released pending reports being sent to the Public Prosecution Service.
Detective Inspector Andy Workman said: “The 26-year-old suspect has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.”
