Bangor congregation shocked at Easter theft

Churchgoers at the Church of the Nazarene in Rathgill have slammed thieves who caused thousands of pounds worth of damage by stealing lead from the building’s roof on Good Friday.

Extensive damage to the property had to be rectified by an emergency maintenance operation that has left the community ‘disheartened’ said Reverend Ken White.
