Beach work-out leaves Ballyholme lean and clean

It wasn't just bodies getting even more beautiful in Bangor this week, with Ballyholme Beach also benefiting from a new fitness initiative.

The local community was out in force to support the Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week with Beach Bootcamp and Clean-up.

Led by personal trainer Jim Gordon and his team from Body Success, more than 20 participants turned out for the bbach bootcamp and clean-up event on Wednesday.

They were joined by representatives from Coca-Cola and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.

Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week events have been running all week across Ireland and aim to educate and foster pride in our precious coastline, while empowering community groups across theisland to get involved in one of the hundreds of coastal clean-ups and events that are taking place.

Across the island of Ireland, there are 26,000 volunteers, over 700 volunteer groups and 300 events planned for Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week, which ends on Sunday.
