Belfast flight is delayed by alleged air rage incident
An easyJet flight from Belfast International Airport to Manchester was delayed yesterday due to an alleged air rage incident inside the aircraft.
A man was reportedly removed from flight EZY134 following an alleged altercation between a passenger and crew.
An easyJet spokeswoman said: "easyJet's cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
"While such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously. (We) do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on board and (we) always push for a prosecution.
"The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's priority."
EasyJet confirmed that police had boarded the aircraft at Belfast International Airport after a report of " a passenger on board behaving in a disruptive manner".
