Kerbstones have been painted pink in a Belfast street, days before the city's Pride parade.

It is understood a business owner has complained to the Department of Regional Development about the painting.

The vivid magenta pink has been painted onto alternate kerbstones in Union Street, in what is unofficially known as Belfast's gay quarter.

The 2015 Belfast Pride parade takes place on Saturday, with the theme "25 Years Building Equality. It’s Time."
