Belfast knife man snatches haul of cigarettes from shop

Police in Belfast are appealing for information after a man with a knife stole cigarettes from a shop on the Albertbridge Road on Sunday.

He walked in at around 7.50am, demanding money. When he was refused, he grabbed a quantity of cigarettes which he put in a dark-coloured rucksack before fleeing.

The PSNI said no-one was injured.

The man is described as around 30-years-old, 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build, with some fair facial hair on his chin.
