Belfast man in court charged with sex offences more than 30 years ago
A Belfast man appeared in court today accused of committing a series of sex offences more than 30 years ago.
David Magee, 56, is to stand trial on a total of 10 charges of indecently assaulting a female.
The alleged offences were carried out on various dates at undisclosed locations in the city.
Magee, of Gransha Drive in Belfast, confirmed he understood the charges against him.
During a preliminary enquiry hearing he declined to give evidence or call witnesses at this stage in the process, replying: "No."
A prosecution lawyer submitted that he has a case to answer.
District Judge Fiona Bagnall granted her application for the accused to be returned for trial at Belfast Crown Court.
Magee was released on continuing until those proceedings get underway.
