Belfast to Dublin railway line security alert caused by 'elaborate hoaxes'
Police have said a security alert in Co Armagh was caused by a number of "elaborate hoaxes".
The railway line in Lurgan - which carries the Dublin train and commuter services to Belfast - was closed due to a security alert throughout Thursday morning.
Two objects were found in Lake Street and at Bells Row.
Examinations subsequently forced road closures and a bus substitution service for affected train services.
There was widespread disruption.
The alert has since ended and all closures lifted.
