'Bird watch' cruise docks in Northern Ireland
A cruise ship of avid bird watchers has docked in Northern Ireland.
Noble Caledonia’s Ocean Nova cruise ship sailed into Derry on Tuesday as part of its "bird watch cruise" to allow the passengers to enjoy the sights around the North West city.
Their voyage will see them travel around the British Isles to observe the diverse marine life.
The focus of the expedition is the prolific birdlife we will visits the spiritual island of Iona, Dunvegan Castle, the seat of the MacLeods and as well as Derry.
The Ocean Nova can accommodate 84 passengers. Built in Denmark in 1992, it was completely refurbished in 2006 and is described as a small, comfortable expedition ship.
