Birth of baby giraffe adds to Belfast Zoo's growing population
There is a new arrival at Belfast Zoo - a beautiful baby Rothschild's giraffe, seen here with its mother in the zoo's Giraffe House.
The cute calf - which hasn't been named yet - was born on Easter Sunday.
Rothschild's giraffes are endangered in their native Kenya, and Belfast Zoo is part of a European breeding programme to help save these beautiful creatures.
The birth of the calf brings to 12 the number of giraffes at the zoo.
According to a spokeswoman it's been a busy Easter at the zoo, with more than 6,200 people visiting during the holiday.
