A 30-year-old blind woman has been robbed by two men in north Belfast.

It happened in the Brown Square area on Tuesday.

She was not physically injured but has been left traumatised.

Inspector Roy Watton from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "At approximately 5.30pm, two males approached a 30-year-old woman as she was walking along the road and grabbed her handbag before making off.

"The woman was not injured, however she was left shaken by her ordeal."
