Body found in Belfast country park in missing man search

A high risk missing person is believed to have been found dead in a country park in North Belfast, police said.

The family of Jonathan Tipping, 31, have been informed of the discovery at Cavehill Country Park shortly after midday today, although formal identification has yet to take place.

Mr Tipping, from the Cavehill Road, was last seen on Wednesday evening.

PSNI Inspector Roy Burnside said: "We would like to extend our sympathies to the Tipping family at this sad time. I would also like to extend my thanks to all those who assisted in the search operation."
