A body believed to be that of a missing west Belfast man has been found.

Kevin Shortt (34) was reported missing by his family three weeks ago. He was found after a week before vanishing again.

Mr Shortt, from Dunmurry, was last seen in the Woodside Walk area on Friday, July 8.

Police confirmed yesterday that a body had been found near Drumbeg, Co Antrim.

A PSNI spokesman said the discovery was made in a wooded area off the Ballyskeagh Road.

"A formal identification and post-mortem will take place, however at this time police are not treating the death as suspicious," he added.
