A seven-year-old boy has been killed in a road traffic collision in Co Fermanagh.

The incident happened at about 1pm on Sunday on the Lattone Road in Belcoo.

He was taken from the scene by ambulance under police escort to South West Acute Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The main Garrison to Belcoo Road was closed and diversions put in place.

Police have thanked local people for their patience, and would like anyone with information to call them at Enniskillen station.
