Bredagh opens doors for all

South Belfast-based Bredagh GAC is hosting its first cross-community fun day at Cherryvale playing fields on the Ravenhill Road on Sunday (May 10) from 2pm-5pm.

Club chairman Paul Blaney said the family day was made possible thanks to assistance and support from Belfast City Council.

“Belfast City Council’s support means we are able to put on a series of fun activities which will be free of charge. Face-painting, magicians and free attractions will make the community fun day ideal for younger families,” said Mr Blaney.

Bredagh GAC has almost 1,000 members and all its football, hurling and camogie teams practice at the Belfast City Council-owned Cherryvale year-round.
