Brother of dissident gun victim flees after threat
The brother of a man shot dead by dissidents has fled his home after receiving a death threat.
Andrew Allen was shot dead at his home in Buncrana, Co Donegal, in February by the terror group Republican Action Against Drugs.
Now his brother Daniel (26) has been told by the PSNI in Londonderry that he is also under threat of death, this time from the Real IRA. A second man has also fled the city.
Daniel's mother Donna Smith said he was already in hiding in the Republic.
"He said he was leaving to spare me another dreaded knock on the door," she said.
Derry's SDLP MLA Pat Ramsay condemned the latest threats.
