Buyer found for Belfast pubs and gig venues
The sale of a Belfast pub and live venues that have hosted performances by legendary pop and rock acts is set to take place soon.
An existing operator in the market is to buy Katy Daly's, the Spring and Airbrake and the Limelight on Ormeau Avenue.
The complex had an asking price of £1.95m when it went on sale in March.
Pub company CDC Leisure, which ran the three venues and sister pub Auntie Annie's, went into administration last year owing nearly £7.8m to Allied Irish Bank.
Radio Ulster DJ Ralph McLean welcomed the news of the venues' sale. He said: "It's great. It bodes well for both local music and visiting artists if the venues are being bought."
