Car damaged by two petrol bombs

Two petrol bombs have been thrown at a car in Co Armagh.

The vehicle, which was fire-damaged, had been parked in the driveway of a house in the Boconnell Court area of Lurgan.

Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) inspector Stephen Humphries has asked for information about the attack, which happened at about 8.30pm last night.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact police at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101.

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
