Charlie Hebdo copies sell out in Northern Ireland
It looks as if the hopes of thousands of people in Northern Ireland trying to secure a copy of the Charlie Hebdo magazine 'Survivors' Edition' have been dashed.
A limited number of people here yesterday got their hands on copies of the magazine, the first edition printed since the massacre at Charlie Hebdo's Paris offices earlier this month.
Some newsagents only got a handful of copies which were quickly snapped up by regular customers who had placed pre-orders and it looks as if there will be no more coming in. Distributors EM News said it had received a limited supply and added: "We have been advised that no further supply is likely to be forthcoming from the magazine's publisher.
One newsagent said: "We have been told 'that's it, there will be no more."
