Chic confirmed as Belsonic act

Disco band Chic are to headline Belsonic at Custom House Square this August.

It is the only Northern Ireland show by the band featuring front-man Nile Rodgers.

The band recently collaborated with Daft Punk on Get Lucky and Lose Yourself To Dance.

Since their debut Belfast performance in 2012, they have performed four sell-out concerts across Northern Ireland, culminating in a 4,000 capacity event at the Venue, part of Derry's 2013 City of Culture, which sold out in less than two hours.

Tickets go on sale on Friday June 20 at 9am.

Other Belsonic headliners include Queens of the Stone Age, Example, Biffy Clyro, Imagine Dragons and Kodaline.
