A couple and three children have escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Co Antrim.

It happened at Oakwood Road in Carrickfergus at about 11.30pm on Sunday.

A window was smashed but the device failed to ignite.

Police have removed the petrol bomb for forensic examination and want anyone with information to contact officers in Larne on 101, quoting reference 1405 31/07/16.
