Christine Bleakley reveals she "adores it" when things go wrong on air ahead of Christmas charity show
TV host Christine Bleakley has said she "adores it" when things go wrong on air.
The Co Down born star said viewers loved it when presenters slipped up, confessing she "adores it" as well.
Bleakley (36) will join a host of stars for ITV's Text Santa Christmas charity appeal on December 18.
"It’s a live show, so we’re all on stand-by for things going wrong. That’s part of it. But people love that – they absolutely adore it when we make mistakes!," she told the Sunday Express.
"I adore it, too – and I’m on it! Unfortunately, the producers know I’m up for anything – and that gets me into trouble!"
Also in the event line-up are Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Alesha Dixon, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.
Bleakley also revealed that she plans to have a traditional Christmas with her family.
"My whole family is coming over, and the house will be full. It’s a very precious time when we’re all able to be together," she said.
"I’m quite traditional. I was brought up with us all sat around the dinner table. We do it properly with serviettes and candles. We never leave the house on Christmas Day. I just adore it."
