Police investigating the murder of Christopher Meli have arrested two 17-year-old boys.

The teens were arrested in west Belfast today and taken to a police station for questioning.

Father-of-one Christopher Meli, 20,  known to his friends as "Crickey", was found dead on a pathway near Glasvey Close in the Twinbrook area of the city in the early hours of December 12.

The 20-year-old had been beaten to death.

Police said they believe around 20 people were involved in the violent attack.

Three teenagers have appeared in court charged with the murder.

Update: The two 17-year-old males have been released on bail pending further enquiries
