A Co Tyrone mother is recovering in hospital after falling from a first-floor window.

Claire McLaughlin suffered serious injuries in the incident, which happened in Coalisland on Monday.

Police said that while the 29-year-old was hurt, they were not treating the incident as a criminal act.

The mother-of-two was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital and treated for her injuries following the fall, which happened in the town's Mourne Crescent.

Three men aged 24, 25 and 34 and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on Monday following the incident.

A PSNI spokesman said that all four had since been unconditionally released.

A spokesman for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust confirmed that Ms McLaughlin remained in a stable condition in hospital.
