Co Antrim man dies in quad bike accident

A Co Antrim man has been killed  in a quad bike accident.

Wilson Bonnar, a farmer, died in the off-road accident at Glenwherry, between Ballymena and Ballyclare, on Wednesday afternoon. 

An ambulance service rapid response crew raced to the scene in a field at Douglas Road, but they were unable to save Mr Bonnar’s life.

Mr Bonnar’s funeral will take place at 3pm  tomorrow  at  Glenwherry Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family man Mr Bonnar, who  was well known in the Glenwherry area, is survived by his widow Mandy and sons Richard and  Houston.
