Community centre gets new funding boost
Young people from east Belfast are set to benefit after the latest package of funding from the International Fund For Ireland was announced.
The Dee Street Community Centre has been awarded £133,158.
It will now join forces with groups in County Monaghan and County Fermanagh, aiming to improve cross border work within the three communities.
The money will be used to deliver a youth-focused project, which will provide opportunities for contact between young people aged 12 to 25 from different backgrounds.
This latest batch of funding aims to build positive relationships between the three communities through exploration of their similarities and differences.
