Cups of cheer for Derry airport food makeover
An overhaul of City of Derry Airport’s refreshment facilities has been completed as part of a major refurbishment contract.
The £150,000 makeover has has seen Mount Charles Group set up Fed & Watered, and the We Make cafe at Eglinton.
The project forms part of a seven-year cleaning and catering contract.
The completed works involve new surroundings and an enhanced menu offering fresh regional dishes including Ulster Fry, Portavogie scampi and Northern Irish beef burger.
The Mount Charles Group’s Trevor Annon said: “We are delighted to be awarded the catering and cleaning contract at City of Derry Airport and hope to provide its passengers and users with facilities befitting a UK City of Culture.”
