Cyclist in fatal Newry accident named

The 27-year-old man who died in a road accident on Wednesday morning was Jaroslaw Lewandowski from the Newry area.

Police are appealing for information following the collision at around 11.30am on the Old Warrenpoint Road between a white Citroen van and trailer and a bicycle being ridden by the victim.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ardmore Police Station in Newry or the Collision Investigation Unit in Steeple, Antrim on 0845 600 8000.
