Cyclist in hospital after being hit by car between Cookstown and Moneymore
A cyclist is seriously injured in hospital after being hit by a car near Moneymore.
The collision happened around 6.30pm on Wednesday evening on the Cookstown to Moneymore dual carriageway, about two miles from Moneymore.
Emergency services attended and the 44-year-old cyclist was transferred to hospital.
His is now considered to be in a serious condition.
The dual carriageway was closed to Cookstown bound traffic for a time but has since re-opened.
Witnesses are urged to call police on the non-emergency number 101.
