Cyclist involved in collision with Belfast bus recovers in hospital
A cyclist is recovering in hospital after being involved in a collision with a bus in Belfast city centre.
The man was riding on Victoria Street close to the Albert Clock when he was knocked over by an Ulsterbus Goldliner coach at about 2.20pm yesterday.
An ambulance crew reached the scene within minutes. A spokesman said the man was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
A spokeswoman for Translink said the firm is assisting the PSNI with its investigation. "We can confirm that an incident occurred involving a cyclist and the coach shortly after 2.15pm," she said.
