Cyclist struck by car in Belfast
A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being knocked down in Belfast.
Emergency services responded to a collision between a car and a bicycle on Little Donegal Street at around 8.55am.
A police spokeswoman said: "We understand the cyclist was taken to hospital with a bruised hip."
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they received a call at 8:56am that a cyclist had been knocked down.
A rapid response vehicle was sent along with an Accident and Emergency crew.
The patient was taken to the Mater Hospital.
He added: "There are no details of injuries."
