Cyclists gear up for the return of Gran Fondo
Sun, sun and more sun was promised by forecasters - and didn't they deliver?
What better day for a bike ride in practice for the Gran Fondo, the Giro d'Italia event that rolls into Belfast again on Sunday?
Around 4,000 riders will set off from Titanic Belfast on two routes - a 175km killer to the Mournes and a less demanding 58km Strangford route.
As well as the main cycle, there is also a Giro Expo over the weekend at Titanic Belfast.
Organiser Darach McQuaid said this year's Fondo would be bigger and better, with riders coming from all over the globe.
"They'll experience the Giro-style closed roads and a real festival atmosphere from the communities both routes pass through," he added.
