The daughter of murdered Belfast greengrocer Harry Holland is running in a local government election in Dublin.
Sarah Holland, from west Belfast, will be running for Sinn Fein hoping to win a seat representing the prosperous area of Rathfarnham on the south side of the Republic's capital.
She is believed to have moved to Dublin 10 years ago, where she works in the financial services industry.
Her father Harry Holland (65) died after a vicious attack in September 2007.
He had been a popular, family-orientated businessman and was killed as he tried to stop a gang of youths stealing his delivery van outside his shop on the Glen Road.
Stephen McKee was convicted of the murder in 2009.
