Down's teams Oxford Bulls Sion Sonics get a kick out of first game
A team of young footballers from Londonderry with Down's syndrome have played their first match.
The Oxford Bulls took on Sion Sonics - another local team featuring players with Down's - on Monday.
The friendly came about after the team featured in a video with WBA and Republic of Ireland winger James McClean that went viral.
Manager Kevin Morrison said that it was "a night to remember".
The idea for the team came from Mr Morrison, whose son Adam (11) loves football, but wasn't keen on loud noises so hadn't played.
With help from parents contacted through Foyle Down's Syndrome Trust, they booked some time at Foyle Futsal Centre and the training began.
