Driver stable as lorry sheds its load of jam
Motorists were caught up in a real traffic 'jam' yesterday after a lorry overturned, spilling jars of preserves.
The busy Nutts Corner roundabout was closed for a time after hundreds of jars of jam and marmalade scattered on to the Dundrod Road exit, causing long delays.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed it was called to the scene just before midday and took one man to Antrim Area Hospital. Last night a spokeswoman for the Northern Health Trust said he was in a stable condition.
