Drivers asked to avoid streets in Larne due to 'unsafe building'

Drivers are being asked to avoid two streets in Larne after tiles began falling off the roof of a building.

Police said motorists are advised that Point Street and Lower Cross Street in Larne have been closed due to an unsafe building in the area.

Diversions are in place and motorists should seek an alternative route for their journey.

It's understood tiles began falling off the building.

It's not clear whether that was caused by the ongoing stormy conditions across Northern Ireland.
