Police have seized suspected drugs including suspected cannabis resin, grinders, approximately 300 non-prescription tablets and a stun gun, following searches of three residential properties across west Belfast on Wednesday afternoon.

Four males aged, 42, 32, 24 and 37 were arrested for a number of drugs related offences, including possession and intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

Inspector Mike White said: "Police are committed to tackling the issue of drug supply and misuse. With the help of the local community, we will continue to dedicate our resources to identify individuals involved and bring them to justice.

!Our enquires into the illegal supply of these potentially lethal drugs are continuing. I would appeal for anyone with any information connected to the illegal supply or misuse of drugs to contact their local police on the non-emergency number 101.

"Alternatively information can be provided anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
