DUP's Orange Order freedom of Lisburn proposal 'unjustifiable'

Alliance has welcomed the decision to withdraw a DUP proposal for the Orange Order to be granted freedom of the City of Lisburn.

DUP man Paul Givan would have needed a majority of two thirds, but 40% of councillors have come out in opposition to it, Alliance councillor Brian Dornan said, adding that the proposal was “just not justifiable”.
