Easter Rising Commemorations: Boy (16) charged over Lurgan disorder
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with offences in relation to disorder in Lurgan during last month's Easter Rising commemorations.
Police were attacked with petrol bombs during sporadic trouble in the Co Armagh town on March 28.
Tensions in the area had been running high around the Easter Rising Commemorations.
The teenager has been charged with riotous behaviour, possession of an offensive weapon, throwing a petrol bomb and making a petrol bomb.
He is to appear before Craigavon Youth Court on May, 10.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
