EasyJet launches Birmingham service
A new air link between Belfast and Birmingham is set to open in the autumn.
The first easyJet flight will take off from the International Airport on October 22, increasing to twice daily (Monday-Friday) a week later. There will also be a flight on Saturday and Sundays.
It brings to 23 the number of easyJet destinations from Aldergrove.
Commercial manager Ali Gayward said the new service demonstrated the airline's commitment to the travelling public and reflected the growing demand for business travel. In the past year it launched services to Manchester and London Southend.
BMI already operates a service to Birmingham from George Best Belfast City.
