Ed Sheeran to play Belfast as part of 2018 stadium tour
Ed Sheeran has announced he will be performing in Belfast next year.
The Thinking Out Loud singer will perform at the Boucher Road Playing Fields on May 9 as part of his new UK and Europe stadium tour.
The announcement was made yesterday on Sheeran's website - a day after he teased fans with new tour dates on social media.
The star will also perform dates at Dublin's Phoenix Park, Pairc ui Chaoimh in Cork and Pearse Stadium in Galway.
Tickets for the gigs will go on sale from Saturday, July 8 at 9am.
Sheeran announced 25 concert dates in total, including shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Amsterdam and Paris.
It comes following his hugely successful headlining set at Glastonbury on Sunday night where he played in front of around 75,000 fans.
