The roles will be based in Viridian Group’s headquarters in Belfast and hiring for the new roles is to start immediately.

Group Chief Executive Ian Thom, said: “We are delighted to be announcing the creation of 35 new jobs for Belfast. They are being created as part of a £20 million investment by Viridian Group over the next 3 years.

"The Group has always been at the forefront of innovation and progression in the energy sector. Through this significant investment we will be developing a wide range of exciting new IT capabilities and technologies.”

Director of IT Catherine Gardiner, said: “The roles will be based in our headquarters in Belfast, so they should be particularly attractive to IT professionals in Northern Ireland and IT professionals looking to return home to Northern Ireland from GB.

"The new hires will be joining an existing team of over 100 IT professionals and can look forward to working with them on some exciting and challenging projects."
